Weekly Cleaning, Testing, and Balancing From Opening to Closing

Opened right. Closed right. Cared for all season.

Weekly pool service in Putnam County, NY from Bobby Bahama Pools means one visit every week, same day, from the time we open your pool until we close it. Skim, brush, vacuum, empty the baskets, test the water, balance the chemicals, check the equipment, and leave a note. We run weekly routes through Putnam, Westchester, and Dutchess. Call (914) 382-5972 to claim a day.

What We Do Every Visit

Skim the surface and brush the walls, steps, and tile line
Vacuum the floor
Empty the skimmer and pump baskets
Full water test: free chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, stabilizer, and salt on saltwater pools
Add what the test calls for, nothing more
Check filter pressure and backwash or rinse the cartridge when it's due
Look over the pump, heater, and plumbing for leaks or noise
Leave a note on the readings, what we added, and anything we noticed

That's the whole visit, every week. Nothing on the list is an upcharge; the chemicals we add are the one extra.

Water Testing and Chemical Balancing

Most green pools and most itchy-eyes complaints come from chemistry that drifted for two weeks before anyone looked. We test every visit with a real kit, not a strip, and we balance to the pool, not to a formula. Saltwater pools get their salt level and cell checked. Pools with heavy use or heavy tree cover get a little more attention in July and August. The note we leave after each visit shows the numbers, so you're never guessing what's in the water.

Weekly or Bi-Weekly Plans

Weekly

is the right call for almost every pool in the Hudson Valley from June through August. It's the only schedule that keeps chemistry ahead of heat waves and thunderstorms.

Bi-weekly

works for lightly used pools with good filtration, usually in the shoulder months. We'll tell you straight which one your pool needs, and you can switch between them during the season.

Both plans include the full visit above and priority scheduling for your pool opening and closing.

Saltwater and Chlorine Pools

We service both. Saltwater pools need their salt level, cell condition, and stabilizer watched a little more carefully, and the cell cleaned periodically. Chlorine pools need consistent dosing and shock after heavy use or rain. Either way, the visit is the same length and the same price. The only difference is what's on the truck.

Why us

Why Choose Bobby Bahama Pools for Weekly Service

The same person, the same day.

You'll know which day we come and who's coming. If that ever has to change, you hear from us first.

A note after every visit.

Readings, chemicals added, anything we spotted. Some customers never see us; they always know what we did.

We catch problems small.

A pump that sounds different, a filter running high, a liner wrinkle starting at the shallow end. Seeing the pool every week is how repairs stay small. When something needs more than a weekly visit, we'll say so; see pool equipment repair and pool vacuuming and deep cleaning.

Weekly Pool Service FAQ

Which day will you come?

We assign a route day based on your town and keep it all season, so you always know when to expect us.

Can I start weekly service mid-season?

Yes. If the pool is already clean we start on the next route day. If it's green, we do a deep clean first and then start the weekly schedule.

Do you bring the chemicals?

Yes. We bring what the water needs and add it on the visit. The chemicals are extra, not part of the weekly price, and you don't need to buy or store anything.

What happens when it rains on my day?

Light rain, we still come. Heavy weather, we come the next clear day and the week stays on schedule.

Is there a contract?

Season to season. Weekly service runs from your opening to your closing, and you can switch to bi-weekly or pause if you're away.
