About Serving Cortlandt Manor
Cortlandt Manor is in Westchester County and borders Putnam Valley, so it's part of our home route. The neighborhoods along Route 9, Route 9A, and Route 6, and the streets off Oregon Road and around Hollowbrook and Dickerson Pond, were built mostly from the 1950s through the 1970s. The pools are mid-size inground vinyl and above-ground on normal suburban lots, and at that age liners, pumps, and filters come up.
Montrose, Verplanck, Crugers, and Buchanan on the river side have their own small neighborhoods, and those pools get more wind off the Hudson, so a winter cover there has to be set tight. Furnace Woods and Van Cortlandtville toward Blue Mountain Reservation are more wooded, with the leaf load to match. The Cortlandt side of Mohegan Lake is on the route too.
