The town

About Serving Pound Ridge

Pound Ridge is the southeast corner of our Westchester County route, a short drive from Putnam Valley down I-684 and out Route 172 through Bedford Village. Scotts Corners, along Westchester Avenue, is where errands get done, and the Pound Ridge hamlet is where Route 172 ends at Route 137. Sarles Corners, Boutonville, and the Long Ridge Road area fill in the rest.

The lots are large, wooded, and private, often at the end of a long drive, and the pools match: gunite and custom vinyl with heaters, salt systems, automation, and safety covers cut to a freeform shape. Ward Pound Ridge Reservation takes up a big piece of town, with Trinity Lake and the Siscowit Reservoir at its edges. All that woodland means a serious leaf drop in October and pollen in May, and a cover has to hold both.

Our Work in Pound Ridge

Pound Ridge pools are large, custom, and wooded, so they need equipment work first: a heater that has to run to warm a shaded pool, salt cells and automation that need checking, and a safety cover measured to a freeform shape and anchored into stone or pavers. Openings and closings are bigger jobs here because of the leaf load, and weekly service keeps the chemistry in range between them. The gallery shows recent work across the route: openings, deep cleans, and cover installs.

Year-round

Pool Care Through the Pound Ridge Seasons

Spring

Pool opening in Pound Ridge starts mid-April, and on a shaded estate pool the opening means heater fired and checked, salt cell inspected, automation brought back online, and a plan for the pollen that will sit on the water through May.

Summer

Weekly pool service in Pound Ridge means a set day all season and a check on the heater, salt system, and automation at every visit, because those are the parts that fail without warning in July. A note is left after every visit.

Fall

Pool closing in Pound Ridge runs late September through October, and the lots around Ward Pound Ridge Reservation and the reservoir close last, after the main leaf drop, with a full cleanup before the cover goes on. Every line is blown out and every anchor checked.

Winter

Off-season is for safety cover repairs, replacement springs and anchors, heater and automation upgrades, and liner planning, so nothing is being figured out on opening day.

Good to know

Pound Ridge Pool Service FAQ

Is Pound Ridge too far out for you?

No. Pound Ridge is a short drive from Putnam Valley down I-684 and out Route 172 through Bedford Village, it's on our Westchester route, and there's no travel fee anywhere in the county.

Can you handle an estate pool with a heater, salt system, and automation?

Yes. Hayward, Pentair, and Jandy heaters, salt cells, pumps, filters, and automation are the equipment we work on every week, and a Pound Ridge pool usually has all of it.

Do you install safety covers for large or freeform pools in Pound Ridge?

Yes. Merlin, Loop-Loc, and Meyco mesh and solid covers, measured on site to the actual shape and anchored into the deck, with spring and anchor repairs on covers that are already there.

When should I close a pool near Ward Pound Ridge Reservation?

Late September through October, after the main leaf drop. Closing a pool under that much canopy too early means a cover carrying a month of leaves, so the wooded lots go last with a full cleanup first.

Do you offer weekly pool service in Pound Ridge?

Yes. A set day all season, the heater, salt system, and automation checked on every visit, and a short note saying what was tested, what was added, and what we noticed.

Do you serve Scotts Corners and the Long Ridge Road area?

Yes. Scotts Corners, the Pound Ridge hamlet, Sarles Corners, Boutonville, and the Long Ridge Road area are all on the same Westchester route.

Where can I find pool service near me in Pound Ridge?

If you're anywhere in Pound Ridge, from Scotts Corners to the hamlet to the lots along Route 137, Route 172, or Long Ridge Road, you're on our route. Send the form on this page and Bobby calls back the same business day.
